Debemos averiguar ciertos datos de Benito Pérez Galdós antes de realizar la visita del jueves. Busca los siguientes y aprenderás sobre su vida y obra. Escríbelo en un documento WORD:

1) Busca su fecha y lugar de nacimiento y muerte.

2) Busca una imagen de la Puerta del Sol del siglo XIX y pégala. Los edificios no han cambiado mucho, pero ¿qué es lo que más te llama la atención?

3) Galdós frecuentaba un café para participar en una tertulia. ¿Cómo se llamaba el café?

4) También era socio del Ateneo. ¿Dónde está? ¿Qué es?

5) ¿En qué movimiento literario está enmarcada la obra de Galdós?

6) Busca información sobre estas novelas suyas. Escribe brevemente de qué tratan y quién es el personaje protagonista: "Marianela", "Miau", "Fortunata y Jacinta".

10) ¿En qué calle de Madrid estaba la casa donde falleció? ¿En qué condiciones murió?

Today we are going to start a project about President Barack Obama. You have to write the answers to the questions in a WORD document and send it to the usual e-mail address 4bdiversantamarca@gmail.com. Please take into account that the project combines both the Internet and the newspaper El Mundo from January 21st, so you will have to use both resources to answer your questions. Are you ready?

- What did boxer Mohamed Ali's name use to be? Why did he change it?
7. Page 25. What's the name of the designer who made Michelle Obama's oufit? What is this lady's origin?
8. Page 26. What's the name of Obama's African grandmother? According to the news, what have six Kenyan ministers done?
9. What is a national emergency now in Kenya? Find out the English word for that and write a definition.
10. Find Kenya in the map of Africa and paste a picture on the document. Write the name of its capital city and of the ocean it faces.

IT'S NOT FAIR!

Here is another situation for you composition:

You bought some theatre tickets on the Internet for row 9. When you arrived at the theatre box to collect them, you saw that the tickets were for different seats in row 19. You showed your receipt with the right seats, but the person at the box ignored you and you had to watch the play sitting at the back of the theatre. They didn't want to change the tickets or give you your money back.

Write to the manager of the bank responsible for the Internet service complaining and asking for a solution. Use the guidelines from unit 3 to help you.

9) Dos animales muy famosos de Madrid llevan los nombres de Daoíz y Velarde. ¿Quiénes son? Pega su foto.
